- The ideal candidate has several years of professional experience in film scanning and postprocessing including hardware / IT maintenance.
- Excellent knowledge in film color processing, data and color management.
- Documented professional training and experience in scanning and color grading is a must.
- Restoration software skills.
- Documented professional experience in physical handling of analog (nitrate) film, storage and maintenance.
- Excellent knowledge of English is a plus.
- Willingness to work in an interdisciplinary team.
- Good communication skills.
- Innovative, enthusiastic personality with a high degree of flexibility to work with a radically new approach.

Employment
- The applicant will be employed by Scan2Screen Switzerland at our lab in Berlin.
- Workplace: Berlin, flexibility to travel with the scanner.
- Period: Starting in February 2026 or later, freelance on a project basis.
- Applicants must have a work permit for the EU.
- Compensation: depending on qualification and experience, EUR 25 to 40 / hr
