Scan2Screen’s services include:

• Consulting
• Digitization and / or restoration of historical color films
  Implementing a consistently automated and standardized approach that that adheres to transparency, documentation, and reversibility requirements, aligning with restoration ethics. This approach is designed to flexibly accommodate diverse demands from different archiving strategies
• A multispectral, fully modular film scanner capable of adapting to future technological innovations and standardsFully automated workflows including color management and color reconstruction processes
• Production of digital assets for the distribution and long-term preservation of digital copies, enriched with comprehensive context information
• Semantic indexing of films, facilitating seamless integration into metadata management and asset management systems in accordance with international standards
• Licensing of hardware and software
• Curation of film restoration projects
• Physical measurements, colorimetry, and documentation of film stocks
• Identification of historical color film stocks

Scope

The selected candidate will play a crucial role in acquiring and managing high-profile digitization and restoration projects for Scan2Screen’s advanced multispectral film digitization workflow.

Employment

• Employer: Scan2Screen US LLC, Menlo Park
• Work Arrangement: Hybrid remote and Bay Area (office space in Menlo Park).
• Start Date: December 2024 or later
• Initial Period: 40% employment, with potential for increase based on project acquisition
• Compensation: Commensurate with qualifications and experience, salary range $50 to $100 per hour
• US work authorization required (non-negotiable)
